Mini Pierogies with Sour Cream Dip Recipe

By now you’ve hopefully discovered the latest addition to our lineup of delicious gluten-free snacks—our new Uncured Bacon & Cheddar Mini Pierogies. These tasty, bite-sized morsels are made with a tender, gluten-free rice flour dough and natural ingredients like antibiotic-free uncured bacon and sharp cheddar cheese. In a word: Perfection. And the one thing that can make them even better? A savory, creamy sour cream dip.

We enlisted one of our favorite Instagram creators, Kayla Cappiello, to whip up an easy Onion & Bacon dip to pair with our new mini pierogies, and we highly recommend serving it alongside a piping hot plate of these crisp-yet-tender snacks.

Onion & Bacon Sour Cream Dip

1 box Feel Good Foods Uncured Bacon & Cheddar Mini Pierogies
1 Tbsp olive oil
1/3 cup water
8 ounces low fat sour cream
3 slices of turkey bacon
3 Tbsp diced red onions
2 Tbsp diced gouda cheese
2 Tbsp chopped fresh chives


Cook the turkey bacon until crisp; crumble and set aside. Sauté the diced red onions until translucent; set aside. In a medium bowl, combine sour cream with crumbled bacon, sautéed onions, gouda cheese, and chives. Mix to combine and chill for 1 hour.

Fifteen minutes before you plan to serve, heat the olive oil in a sauté pan over medium-high heat. Add the pierogies and cook for approximately 5 minutes, turning once to brown on both sides. Adjust heat to medium-low and add the water; cover and steam for 6-8 minutes, or until cooked through. Serve with chilled onion and bacon dip.
