Stir-Fried Baby Bok Choy

The perfect side to a variety of entrees…this versatile Asian dish pairs seamlessly with fish, chicken, beef or pork.

Serves: 4 Preparation Time: 10 minutes Cooking Time: 4 minutes

Ingredients:

3 tablespoons water 2 teaspoons cornstarch 2 teaspoons soy sauce 1 tablespoon canola oil 1 ounce ginger, sliced in discs 3 cloves garlic, smashed 2 dashes red pepper chili flakes 1 teaspoon salt 1 turn of fresh black pepper 5 small heads baby bok choy, stalks cut diagonally and leaves cut across in 1 – 1 1/2-inch pieces 1 tablespoon agave

Preparation:

-Mix water, cornstarch and soy sauce in a small bowl and set aside.

-Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ginger and garlic, and sauté for 2 minutes. Add red pepper chili flakes, salt and black pepper.

-Add bok choy, agave and corn starch mixture to the pan. Combine thoroughly, and cook for another 2 minutes.

-Transfer to a bowl and serve.
